Barcode Colours, Barcode Check, Printing Barcodes, Barcode Verification, GS1, Using The Right Colours To Print Your Bar codes Avoid Scanning Problems.

Using the right colours is critical to ensure your barcode check after the barcode is printed will pass the barcode verification process by GS1. GS1 are very strict on the verification process, barcode colours, contrast, size and the overal barcode performance all pay a role in the final outcome to the verification process. Always ensure you use the correct size barcode for the type of material you are printing on to, print your bar codes with sufficient contrast, never reduce or enlarge the barcode otherwise it will fail the verification process. Using the right colour barcode is critical as the reflectance from the barcode scanner may not be able to read the bars correctly. Always pay strict attention to the colours chosen and ensure there is sufficient light margin (white area) from where the first bar starts and the last bar finishes.
